Classical situation with Windows installed on PCs and recovery partition that you can not restore. Black screen with blinking cursor after POST the bios.
The problem may be the hard drive! How to check and correct if necessary? We rely
to Ubuntu by booting from cd!
After the command sudo fdisk-l
identify the device that we are interested in and launch a
ntfsfix sudo / dev/sda2 (example)
gives an error message if we do a first umount the device in question and then we restart the command.
To remove the device (unmount) I went with the right mouse button and dismounts done! : D you can do from shell anyway!
When the fix is \u200b\u200b
Okkey fingers crossed reboot the peak! Now it should go all right then, or at least I've restored the Acronis backup, because that was the operation I wanted to do! Probabilmnete would leave even Windows!
