Extra Support Ideas For Balsa Wood Building

I decided to install Compiz Fusion on Ubuntu 8.04. Before explaining the simple installation procedure will list the main characteristics of my PC.

HP 530:
Intel core duo T2600 (2.16GHz) Centrino
RAM: 1 GB DDR
Video card: Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950

I say this because I think that computers with similar features will have no problem when it ' installation of the program would let alone experiencing slow PC during the execution of the effects.

Installation Procedure:

perform the installation of compiz and simple-ccsm (Utility that is used to configure the effects of compiz)
Open a terminal and type:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install simple-ccsm compiz

close the terminal and go to "system - preferences - appearance - visual effects. " You will see a window like this:

select Custom and enter the preferences to edit at will. To have a wider choice of configuration we move in "system-preferences - advanced deskotp effects settings". We will see a screen like the following:

Now we can finally have fun experimenting with the many possibilities that compiz has to offer.
For the moment I decided not to explain in detail all the settings of the program because I believe that the configuration of various EFFETI etc. ... is very simple and intuitive for everyone.
If you still have some doubts I'll be glad to answer ... see you soon
